Halo and Halo+ provide in-home smart storage solutions for modern living. By combining the functionality of a common household Mason jar with the utility of a secure closure, Halo brings added protection to anything that you want to safeguard. Beyond securing your peace of mind, Halo+ (the digital version of Halo) also enables you to use your phone to track contents, monitor open-and-close histories, and extend access privileges.
Sprout Viz was uniquely positioned to support the launch of Halo and Halo+. As the debut of the crowdfunding campaign for both products (and their accessories) neared, the client had a limited number of working prototypes to support pre-marketing efforts. Further, as a first-of-its-kind product, it was critical to demonstrate a range of use cases that captured the imagination of prospective funders. This is precisely the type of brief that makes visualization such a powerful marketing tool. We produced a suite of images, in-context views, animations, and technical CMF studies that would engage and reassure our investor-buyer targets.
Using our deep library of 3D assets, we created a broad range of physical item drops (gummy bears, dollar bills, M&M’s, etc.) into the jars and locked them tight with the Halo and Halo+. We generated hundreds of jar images with different items inside them in order to communicate the full spectrum of use-cases for the Mason jar audience (i.e. Everyone).
HALO and HALO+ made their debut during the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show at Eureka Park. Our deliverables included the booth design showcasing our favorite use cases, in-context images showing the human aspect of the product, an animated product demo, and an investor pitch deck. Based on their show presence, which included over 1,500 product demos, the Halo products received numerous write-ups in both print and online publications, secured distribution agreements, and jumpstarted their crowdfunding effort with over 2,500 interested backers. The campaign is slated to launch in late 2020.
